We take World Women's Day as an opportunity and invite women from all over the world to AfrOÖ Women Day. We want to get together and exchange information especially about the situations and challenges of women in Austria.
The following topics are in the focus:
- The importance of learning the German language
- The importance of employment
- How can we change from our current profession to another, better one?
- What are our attitudes and our place in society?
- The path of our children
- Health-related topics
- Your topics and questions - let's find out what's on your mind!
We will introduce you to women who will tell you about their professional paths. But we are not only here to talk, we are also here to celebrate! That's why we have traditional food and music for dancing together! Take your children with you and dress up in your traditional clothes!
We are looking forward to celebrate AfrOÖ Women Day together!

Wir nehmen den Weltfrauentag zum Anlass und laden Frauen aus aller Welt zum AfrOÖ Women Day ein. Wir wollen uns zusammensetzen und uns speziell über die Situationen und Herausforderungen von Frauen in Österreich austauschen.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen folgende Themen:
• Die Bedeutung des Erlernens der deutschen Sprache
• Die Bedeutung von Erwerbstätigkeit
• Wie können wir von unserem jetzigen Beruf zu einem anderen, besseren wechseln?
• Wie sind unsere Einstellungen und unser Stellenwert in der Gesellschaft?
• Der Weg unserer Kinder
• Gesundheitsbezogene Themen
• Eure Themen und Fragen - lasst uns herausfinden, was Ihr auf dem Herzen haben!
Wir stellen euch ein paar Frauen vor, die euch von ihren beruflichen Wegen erzählen werden. Aber wir sind nicht nur zum Reden hier, sondern auch zum Feiern! Deshalb gibt es bei uns traditionelles Essen und Musik zum gemeinsamen Tanzen! Nehmt eure Kinder mit und putzt euch heraus in euren traditionellen Kleidern!
